Principal Message
Dear aspirants,

The new session started with new waves, new aspirations and fresh resolutions from the students and the faculty to strive together towards greater achievements and endeavors. Its a matter of pride for me to make a comeback to this institution once again and make every possible efforts towards academic excellence and accomplishment in education for girls. The well-known government institution for girls in higher education in the district Kondagaon. Govt. Gundadhur P.G. College has always headed towards success in academic fields, excellence in sports, peaked fame in cultural zones and extension works at rural slum areas.
This college, rich with the strength of about more than 1200 Students pledge to function with Education Empowerment and Quality Education. The faculty and management make constant attempts for the proper channelization of the talents and ambitions of the young students. The various functional bodies and committees, especially Women Cell, Anti-Sexual and Anti-Harassment Cell for Women, Placement and Career Guidance Cell and Anti-Ragging Committee enable the students to grow and groom in the fear-free environment, and get the right direction in opting of their careers. The progression significantly includes the privileges and scholarships for the girls from SC/ST/OBC/BPL & Minority categories. The faculty and the students are always encouraged to pursue research with more publications & research projects especially interdisciplinary. The enhancement of quality education also includes skill improvisation, awareness and entrepreneurship programs.

              The infrastructure development is pacing fast with the upcoming beautification and pollution free environment of the Science Block and the New Block as well. The automation of the Central Library, well set Computer labs, Indoor Stadium and the Sports ground under process are the important aspects of the campus. The Girls' Hostel is ready, although with limited facilities, and will soon be made available to the girls from remote areas and villages nearby.
                 
                      I take the opportunity, as the Principal, to welcome the young aspirants to be the important part of the institution, that is always committed towards motivation, improvisation and progression with emphasis on personality development, grooming into best citizens and contribution towards global education. I wish all the students a very bright future, and assure to give them best of opportunities to rediscover themselves and share their academic and cultural pursuits in the upliftment of the society.
